This house was designed within the strict constraints of a ‘Tuscan’ estate. In order to create privacy the house was kept fairly solid towards the neighbouring houses, but was opened up with a glass façade towards the garden, adjacent stream and indigenous forest on the koppie on the northern side of the house.
